Paint a Rock for Mental Health Awareness Month

Paint a Rock for Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month is recognized every May to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives. The movement is dedicated to eradicating stigma, extending support, fostering public education, and advocating for policies that prioritize the well-being of individuals and families affected by mental illness. Your mental health matters!

The Continuous Improvement Department's Mental Health Awareness team is hosting the 2nd Annual drop-in Rocks of Empowerment event TODAY May 1, from 9 am to 4 pm on the MCOE Ukaih River Campus, Cedar Building, Southeast Room. This event is free and open to the public. Come join the fun and paint a rock with messages, designs, and illustrations of wellness, hope, and support. Take your painted rock home with you, leave it around the MCOE campus, or hide it somewhere in the community for others to find.
