Success Criteria: Access & navigate the “Tools for Teachers” System and determine key features to support instruction
SESSION 2: September 20th - Tools for Teachers - PART 2
- Formative Assessment
- Standards aligned lessons
Success Criteria: Know how to use claims, targets and DOK to determine assessment items, and how to use data to find resources that link to student performance
SESSION 3: September 27th - CAASPP - PART 1
- An overview & the why
- Reports & useful data
Success Criteria: Navigate the CAASPP Ecosystem, how to access test results in the CA Educator Reporting System (CERS) and how to disaggregate data
SESSION 4: October 4th - CAASPP - PART 2
- Practice & Training Tests
- How to use for instruction
Success Criteria: Know how to administer the practice and training tests and use that data for instruction
SESSION 5: October 11th - CAASPP - PART 3
- Interim Assessments
- Check progress
- Use data to inform instruction
Success Criteria: Know how to administer interim assessments, use the data with the resources from the “Tool for Teachers” system to shape instruction
There will be connections among the sessions, but it is not necessary to attend every session.
