Calling all science enthusiasts! You don't need special experience to volunteer or be a judge at the March 18 37th Annual Mendocino County Science and Engineering Fair & STEAM Expo. We need your support to celebrate our future scientists and student leaders across Mendocino County.
Volunteers:
We are also currently looking for community members interested in supporting the County Science and Engineering Fair as a volunteer. This is a large-scale event and we have many areas where we would appreciate another set of hands. volunteer is the form to be a volunteer.
Judge Volunteers:
The Mendocino County Science and Engineering Fair and STEAM Expo is looking for judges to support this year's fair on March 18th, 2023. Community support is the life blood of this event. We need your support to celebrate the amazing talent of our future scientists and student leaders across Mendocino County. Please share your time to make this year's fair a wonderful experience for all students and families! fair form is the form to sign up to be a judge.
The time commitment is one orientation meeting before the fair on March 8th 5:30-6:30pm and the day of the fair. Judges arrive by 8:30am for a final check in meeting and scoring calibration. Interviews begin at 10am. We cannot yet say when the judging will finish, it depends on the number of participants, but we encourage judges to stay for the awards ceremony from 4-5pm.
