Continuous Improvement

About

A continuously improving education system is one that learns from experience by carefully measuring the effectiveness of different policies and practices, supporting the intrinsic motivation of educators and stakeholders (including educators, parents, and community members), sharing best and promising practices, cultivating a culture of reflection and learning, encouraging innovation, and making changes based on learning.

The Continuous Improvement Department builds internal (MCOE) and external (district/site) capacity by providing technical assistance, professional development/learning, data access/analysis, and resources. Our team is dedicated to providing well-rounded, cohesive assistance in designing, organizing, and co-facilitating key activities in support of inclusion, equity and excellence. The Continuous Improvement Department serves as a strategic thought partner working alongside educators and school leadership to support identification of goals and needs, promote innovative thinking and jointly solve problems. Our overall objective is to assist schools/districts aspiring to improve outcomes for ALL students.
