Notice of Public Hearing by the Board of Trustees of Mendocino County Office of Education: September 9, 2024, 5:10 PM.
Per California State Education Code 60119 and 60422 (b), an annual public hearing must be conducted regarding the sufficiency of instructional materials in schools administered by the Mendocino County Office of Education.

Per Education Code 51747 and 5 CCR 11701, a public hearing must be held when considering the scope of its existing or prospective use of independent study as an instructional strategy. The purpose of authorizing independent study are factors bearing specifically on the maximum realistic lengths of assignments and the acceptable number of missed assignments for a specific population of students and adults.
The public is invited to comment on these two matters during the hearings. This public hearing will be held in person at the Mendocino County Office of Education, 2240 Old River Road, Ukiah, CA 95482 in the Cedar Building. The public may opt to attend virtually via the Zoom link below.
