Mendocino County Office of Education is delighted to offer a learning and coaching series focused on empowering students to take ownership of and be responsible for their own behavior.

This series includes;

  • Access to the Acting Right course by Focus Five Online
  • 4 accompanying coaching sessions to support classroom implementation
  • Materials including the Acting Right book by Sean Layne
  • Acting Right uses four strategies to build a Cooperative, Collaborative, Creative Classroom Community.

"This step-by-step approach integrates engaging aspects of drama with effective elements of classroom management to empower students to take ownership of and be responsible for their own behavior. Used in classrooms across the country, these strategies help create the behavioral literacy necessary for students to concentrate, cooperate, collaborate and establish a sense of calm, focus, and balance in the classroom." Focus Five Online

Join us for a welcome and information session on either Wednesday December 7th or Wednesday December 14th at 4pm. Access to the online course and materials will be available after this meeting for those that choose to join the group.
