2nd Annual Science Retreat for TK-12 Educators: Connect - Explore - Refresh - Restore
Mendocino Woodlands State Park: July 24, 9:00am through July 26, 11:30am
Retreat workshops include NGSS Best Practices, UDL & SEL Strategies, Inspiring Student Creativity and Curisoity, Environmental Literacy Curriculum, and Service Learning & Award Opportunities. Free time options include hikes, river swim, yoga, challenge course, nature journaling, evening bonfire and exploring the Woodlands. Rustic overnight accomodations are in cabins hand-built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, complete with a balcony and fireplace.
The first 100 educators to register will be accepted and notified by July 1st. The cost of registration is $100 for anyone serving Mendocino County schools, and $200 for out of county educators payable through a check, district PO or personal payments are also welcome. Registration preference will be given to Mendocino County Educators.
