Mendocino County Career and Technical Education Programs Receive State Investment

Elected Officials Recieve a Larger than Life One-Million Dollar Check

Career & Technical Education is so important! Thanks to the work of State Senator Mike McGuire and the collaboration between Mendocino County Office of Education, North Coast Builders Exchange, and Career Technical Education (CTE) Foundation, $1 million in State funds will be invested in a five year training program connecting Mendocino County students with training in building trades. At the November 8th press conference, Mendocino County Superintendent of Schools Nicole Glentzer remarked, "CTE provides our youth with a pathway to successful careers both within and beyond the boundaries of our remote communities. These programs play a pivotal role in shaping our future because they serve as a catalyst for economic development and community resilience." More here: https://lnkd.in/gW8K2GS4
