The Mendocino County Science and Engineering Fair relies on volunteers like YOU to ensure a successful event for students and families. Please help us support young scientists by judging, facilitating hands-on activities, and more.

Volunteers can sign up below, via an on-line form. Time slots are available throughout the day, from 8am-6pm. Continental breakfast, coffee, snacks, and lunch are provided. 

Community judges make all the difference! Ready to spark a chain reaction of curiosity and innovation? We need many many judges to make the fair run smoothly and equitably. Judges are professionals in any science or education-related field who interview students and score student projects using a rubric.

Each participating school district must send at least one judge for every six student entries.
